Xmas pics

I videotaped Kendra on christmas morning opening her gifts and wish I would've taken more pictures! We put up her gift from Grandma Sandy and couldn't get her out to open her other gifts! She was having a blast!

Her Grandma Sandy also got her a cool new wagon!! Daddy had to pull her all around outside before we left on christmas day to go to Lodi. Of course I didn't take a picture of her, but here is one from the night before. (not very good, I know)

Kendra had fun trying out her cousin Courtney's car. We didn't have the battery in it or anything (so she wasn't able to really try it out), but she had fun getting in and out of it!

She got a cozy coupe from Grandma and Grandpa Wendt. She had lots of fun playing in it all evening (there and when we got home). She even remembers which side she has to go to to open the door. Then she gets in and pulls the door shut behind her. It is so funny!

Almost Xmas!!

Here are some pics of Kendra. She is just getting over a sinus infection. She has had a cold for 2+ weeks now with a horrible cough at night. We started her on antibiotics Tuesday evening and last night was a much better night. Her cough has been so bad it sounds like she is gagging/puking! This little dress was much cuter on her than I even thought it was going to be. She loves to hang out in her little bouncy chair!

She's Finally Walking!!

Kendra finally started walking! Last Saturday she took her first few unassisted steps. Now she will stand up on her own a lot (without using furniture or anything), but it's still hard to get her to realize she can walk. She has no problem doing it with her baby stroller. We caught her on video this evening though. Here she is!!

Some Pics

Here is Kendra (on Thanksgiving) pinching herself. She always has an itchy belly (dry skin) and I think this is so funny. I captioned it as, "I ate too much thanksgiving food mom, and I'm getting fat!" She really didn't eat much food on Thanksgiving though. Puked on me the next morning (some splattered on my face and in my mouth!). It was gross. Then she was fine/happy all day, but didn't eat much. Puked again Saturday morning, this time on a towel (I saw it coming). Puked all over her highchair when I tried to feed her lunch that afternoon. Then she was fine all afternoon and all day Sunday (still not eating much), but puked all over again Sunday night. Grandma Sandy left just in time, she puked about 15 minutes after Grandma left!

Kendra was very afraid of dogs and stuff for a while (as well as people!!). Now all of a sudden she LOVES dogs. She goes crazy pointing at them when she sees them and she barks. Well it's more like, "uh-uh, uh-uh." I'll have to try to video her doing it. It is the only thing that I can say/do that she will imitate me. Anything else I try to get her to say or do, she just ignores me. Well, that's only partly true. I can sometimes get her to clap. Just another day

This is what Kendra does when she gets home from daycare. She lounges on the couch with her bottle, watching tv! I took this picture last night, I just thought she looked cute.

Kendra's birthday dinner

We got home late on Kendra's birthday and she was so tired, but needed to eat dinner. Aunt Jenny fed her (and got her pretty messy, but that's okay). I just had to share the picture because we were laughing so hard that she was holding hands with her baby doll. This was not posed or anything, she just sat there holding it's hand while she ate!

Sunday-Cont.

Sunday (mid-day), Jana, Greg, Shelby and Courtney came up to see our new house (which needs a lot of work). I took some pictures of the girls playing together. I thought they were cute. Note: the ugly carpet and curtains are not staying!

Monday-Crazy Hair Day

It's spirit week at Kendra's daycare. Yesterday (Monday) was crazy hair day. Here's Kendra with crazy hair. Brent says another one of the babies had purple hair, her parents dyed it with koolaid!! I don't think I would do that to my baby! Today was backwards day, I didn't get a picture of her, but will try to when she gets home if her clothes weren't changed.

Sunday

Sunday, Brent, Kendra and I participated in the Breast Cancer walk for a cure. It was quite chilly out and there were a TON of people downtown. We walked with the Lexus of Roseville team. We didn't make it in time to be in their team picture, but I took a picture of us when we got back to the car with my cell phone. It's not the best picture of us, but it works. And it shows my new hair color for those of you who haven't seen it yet.

Pumpkin Patch!

We went to the pumpkin patch on Sunday. It was fun, Kendra loves pumpkins! She didn't mind sitting in the dirt and getting all scratched up from the wood chip crap on the ground. She actually would get mad if we would pick her up because she wanted to be on the ground, climbing on the pumpkins! We went through the haunted house-here is Brent and Kendra in there:

We also went through a corn maze and went on a hay ride. Kendra had fun grabbing for the corn while we were going through the maze and ripping the leaves off (and trying to eat them). And yes, it was very hard to push the stroller through there, but she gets heavy after a while!

11 months old!

Boating on the River

Sunday we went out to the river. Jennifer, Joe and Ruben took their boat out and we went out on ours. We were almost to the boat ramp when we realized we had left Kendra's life jacket at home. We had to turn around and go buy one at Walmart out in Natomas. What a pain! But we finally made it out there. I am so surprised that Kendra doesn't freak out when we start the boat, it is pretty loud! She loves the water and her Aunt Jennifer kept letting her play in it (on the shore). Dad let her drive the boat for a while too. We were coming up to some turns so I grabbed her and put her back on my lap and she got SO mad. She wanted to hold the steering wheel with her Dad! The video's not that great, but it shows that we are moving!
